My site uses "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA"). The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). reCAPTCHA is intended to check whether data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is being done by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various pieces of information (e.g. IP address, duration of the website visitor's stay on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. 

The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place. The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. I, as the website operator, have a legitimate interest in protecting the web offers against abusive automated spying and spam.

Administration, Financial Accounting, Office Organization, Contact Management 

I process data as part of administrative tasks and the organization of my business, financial accounting, and compliance with legal obligations, such as archiving. Here, I process the same data that I handle in the provision of my contractual services. The legal bases for processing are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c. DSGVO, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO. Customers, prospects, business partners, and website visitors are affected by this processing. The purpose and my interest in the processing lie in the administration, financial accounting, office organization, archiving of data, which are tasks that serve to maintain our business activities, fulfill our duties, and provide our services. The deletion of data concerning contractual services and contractual communication corresponds to the information provided for these processing activities. 

I disclose or transmit data to the tax authorities, consultants, such as tax advisors or auditors, as well as other fee agencies and payment service providers in this context. 

Furthermore, based on our business interests, I store information about suppliers, event organizers, and other business partners, for example, for later contact purposes. These mostly business-related data are generally stored permanently.

Comments and Posts 

When users leave comments or other contributions, their IP addresses may be stored for 7 days based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. This is done for my security in case someone leaves unlawful content in comments and contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, I could be held responsible for the comment or contribution and am therefore interested in the identity of the author. Furthermore, I reserve the right, based on my legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, to process user information for the purpose of spam detection. On the same legal basis, I reserve the right to store the IP addresses of users for the duration of surveys and to use cookies to prevent multiple votes. The data provided in the context of comments and contributions will be stored by me permanently until the users object.

Hosting and Email Delivery 

The hosting services I use serve to provide the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, email delivery, security services, as well as technical maintenance services that I use for the operation of this online offering. In this context, I process, or my hosting provider processes, inventory data, contact details, content data, contract data, usage data, meta- and communication data of customers, interested parties, and visitors to this online offering based on my legitimate interest in an efficient and secure provision of this online offering pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 28 DSGVO (conclusion of a data processing agreement).

Elopage

Through my website, I also offer digital products such as tickets, online courses, vouchers, digital products, and downloadable products for purchase. For this purpose, I utilize the service of elopage. Once you click on one of my product buttons, you will leave my website and be redirected to my individual elopage sales page. I maintain online presences within social networks and platforms to communicate with active customers, prospects, and users there, and to inform them about our services. 

I would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This may entail risks for users because, for example, the enforcement of user rights could be more difficult. With regard to US providers certified under the Privacy Shield, we would like to inform you that they commit to complying with the data protection standards of the EU. 

Furthermore, user data is typically processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created from usage behavior and resulting user interests. These user profiles can, in turn, be used to display advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the users' interests. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on users' computers, storing user behavior and interests. In addition, data may also be stored in the user profiles regardless of the devices used by the users (especially if users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in).

Scope of Data Processing 

I offer you the opportunity to sign up for my email newsletter. In the newsletter, I inform you via email about exclusive news and offers. When signing up for the newsletter and accessing it, I collect certain information, such as your email address. Unsubscribing is possible at any time, for example, via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can also send your request to unsubscribe at any time via email to contact@amelie-boehm.com.

To provide you with the form for subscribing to and unsubscribing from my newsletter on the website, I use cookies on the website (see Cookies section), through which I process personal data.

Purpose of Processing I process data of our newsletter subscribers for the following purposes:

  • Sending newsletters, event invitations, and information about special offers and design templates.
  • Providing the form for subscribing to and unsubscribing from my newsletter on the website.
  • Double opt-in procedure to confirm the subscription.
  • Storage and processing for evidentiary purposes for potential assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
  • Analysis of the usage behavior of newsletter subscribers in my newsletter and creation of usage profiles using pseudonyms for personalizing the newsletter.

The collection of the user's email address and first name is to deliver the newsletter. The collection of other personal data during the registration process is to prevent misuse of the services or the email address used.

Regarding the data processing for sending newsletters, there is no transfer of data to third parties. The data is solely used for sending the newsletter.

Legal Basis 

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO if the user has given consent. The legal basis for sending the newsletter resulting from the purchase of our products is § 7(3) UWG.

Storage Duration 

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection. The email address and the user's first name will be stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active. Other personal data collected during the registration process is usually deleted after a period of seven days.

Objection and Removal Option 

The newsletter subscription can be canceled by the respective user at any time. For this purpose, each newsletter contains a corresponding link. This also allows revocation of the consent to store the personal data collected during the registration process.
